Pedigree

Gator was our first whippet. We were looking for a smaller breed that our son could show in juniors and turned to our good friends Matt & Beth McCutcheon of Silverstone Whippets for a puppy. We are extremely grateful to the McCutcheons for entrusting us with this once in a lifetime dog. He made our introduction to this breed amazing! Gator was RWD at both the AWC Eastern & Midwest specialties, BOS, and BOB over specials all as a puppy. His major wins were under respected hound judges Mrs. Anne Rogers Clark & Mrs. June Penta. Thanks to Barb Wayne (Charlemagne) for showing Gator to his specialty wins & first major and for her friendship, guidance, and support.


I had the thrill to be able to put all of Gator's other points on him myself finishing him at 18 months. Gator has proven himself as a sire as well. With only three litters on the ground he has already produced two champions and multiple major pointed children & grandchildren, with several near their championships. For the most part Gator is retired from showing but does occasionally have an outing as a veteran.
